Star Controls provides best in class maintenance services to increase availability (up-time) and extend life cycle of the systems.

Excellent customer support is an integral part of the culture at Star Controls. Our family of maintenance products, StarAssured, offers verity of programs that can meet every need.


Annual Support

We offer three maintenance programs to meet any organization’s needs:

Silver (Standard) Maintenance Program:
Comprehensive and unlimited customer support via the phone, web or email 8am-5pm EST.

Web based trouble ticketing entry, escalation and follow up.
Software upgrades and documentation.

Extended hardware warranty (when applicable).

Discounted ½ day installation and training (for new Star Controls customers)

  Participation in Star Controls’ beta programs.

 


Customer resources: Best practices documents and application notes.

Gold (Premium) Maintenance Program:
All the benefits of the Silver (Standard) program, and:

24 x 7 support coverage, and a 4-hour guaranteed response time.


 
On-site engineer within 72 hours, if needed.
 

Platinum (Ultimate) Maintenance Program:
All the benefits of the Gold (Premium) program, and:


 
On-site engineer within 24 hours, if needed.

 
Partial functional backup unit/system within 72 hours, and fully functional within 96 hours.
 

On Demand, On Site and Tailored Programs

Star Controls offers on demand, on site and tailored support programs. The on demand support is for customers that don’t have annual support agreement with Star Controls. The support will be charged on hourly or daily basis.

Important notes: In many cases client will be entitled to sign for annual agreement, i.e. after realizing the importance of the service, and part or all cost of on-demand services will be credited toward annual program.

From our experience the On-site engineer requires for:

Large systems or mission critical applications.

Emergency situation

Client is willing to have close support during first time implementation of system, i.e. buy “peace of mind”.


Preventive Maintenance

This program allows customer to outsource the preventive maintenance activities of the SCADA system and associated components, e.g. sensors, communications, site’s environment, etc. This allows customer to focus on his core business, and allocating resources to more productive activities.

Star Controls uses well trained technicians and other highly qualified resources.
